Five Core Business Units.
One Powerful Solutions Provider.
When it comes to supply chain logistics, time is of the essence. With Intermarine, customers benefit from the most frequent and reliable liner service in the Americas. This unmatched strength is a direct result of more than two decades of Intermarine building an extensive logistics network in South America and the Atlantic region. Day in and day out, customers know they can count on the consistency of these sailings to meet their demanding project deadlines.
U.S. Flag Services
At Intermarine, we pride ourselves on giving customers the best options for their cargo transport needs. As agents for U.S. Ocean, LLC, we connect customers with the largest multipurpose and breakbulk fleet operating under the U.S. flag. U.S. Ocean provides custom transport services that draw upon 10 years of worldwide business experience. From impelled cargoes to heavylift, military and project related cargoes, the company’s fleet transports over half a million tons of cargo annually to destinations spanning seven continents.
Controlled by Intermarine, Industrial Terminals is the largest project cargo port in the United States. This strategically located asset encompasses 95 acres of land adjacent to the Houston Ship Channel and functions as Intermarine’s primary load and staging center for cargo and projects.
Offering full service shipping and cargo transport solutions 24/7, Industrial Terminals provides maximum accessibility and flexibility to meet our customers’ ever-changing schedules.
Moreover, we offer customers the expediency of an all-inclusive logistics experience by providing a range of service and support advantages, including covered warehousing, export packing, direct rail and truck access, and an extensive cargo marshaling area.
Worldwide Chartering Services
A result of our 2012 merger with Scan-Trans, Worldwide Chartering brings the best-of-the-best together to deliver premier services in worldwide project and heavylift cargo transportation.
This specialized division strategically manages customer cargo on Intermarine’s vessels designated for service outside the main liner services routes. By leveraging a series of innovative management techniques, our Worldwide Chartering team can consistently offer customized, cost efficient solutions with superior service that satisfies the transportation demands of the world’s top performing companies.
When Intermarine’s customers speak, we listen. At the urging of our customer base, Intermarine initiated service to Africa in 2012. The service has steadily grown since then, and plans are to increase frequency levels and add countries as demand warrants.
